I’ve reviewed some pie books and made quite a few pies this year because mastering pie crusts was one of my baking goals this year. I have so many pie books and I love all of them. They each have good tips and methods for making pie crusts as well as fun different variations.
Calling all the pie loving book worms out there! I just finished this fabulous and super cute romance novel set in a pie shop in rural Montana. Love dessert themed novels? I read just about everyone of them out there. See for yourself. This isn’t even the first pie novel.

My blog turned four last week! I can’t believe after four years and 740 posts that I still have something to write about. There are still so many recipes and techniques that I haven’t even tried yet. This is the third time I’m celebrating my blog’s “birthday” with something Oreo.

This is the second recipe I made from Teeny’s Pies. I made all these pies around January when it was freezing and wouldn’t stop snowing. I started off amazing on my pie baking resolution.
