I’m back! I survived my first week back at work. It was a little hard to hand the little bear over to the day care on the first day. He gave me the saddest little ‘where are you going look’ but after a few days he was fine.

I road tripped to Pittsburgh yesterday with my mom and the baby. We’re visiting relatives for a few days before I have to go back to work. I can’t believe how fast three months went by

These cookies are major. I mean MAJOR. Chocolate, intense, salty, crazy cookies. I understand why the recipe book they came from is called Cookie Love.

Cookie Love is the most beautiful baking book that I’ve seen this year. It’s filled with gorgeous looking cookies with innovative recipes. The book is written by Mindy Segal, proprietor of Hot Chocolate in Chicago.

Another recipe that I made a few weeks before Easter but only now have the time to blog about. However, cookies and apples never go out of fashion around here!
