I’m so glad that warmer weather is here now. It’s much more fun to go out and about with the baby. I have developed a great baby toucher radar though! Some people can not resist and try and touch the baby without asking. It’s mostly little old ladies that don’t know any better. I’ve gotten pretty good and spotting them a mile away and steering us out of their path :p

I can’t believe that my maternity leave is almost over. I’m happy to be going back to my job but I’ll be sad not being with my little baby bear every day. We’ve been making the most of our time together though.

Life is Sweet is the 4th installment of cookbooks for the Hummingbird Bakery. Those of you that live in the US may not be familiar with this bakery. It was one of the first American style bakeries in the UK opening on the famous Portobello Road back in 2004. Their first cookbook was sold in the US. I do recall seeing it at Barnes & Noble before.

I love my little koala bear and he keeps me pretty busy. I’m pretty much on my feet running around taking care of his laundry, endlessly putting his pacifier back in his mouth or keeping the house clean. We do spend a ton of time on the sofa watching Netflix while I feed him. I have watched every single episode of American Dad and I’m currently on House.

Welcome my little cupcake Oskar to the world! He was born on February 5th at 8.04am in the morning weighing 6 lbs 7 oz. He was amazingly born on his due date. His dad is Swiss so it’s very fitting that he’s prompt.
