These were a little bit of a pain to make but they’re so much fun. I didn’t make them for any particular special occasion but considering all the effort I wish I had!

One of my friends has to eat a gluten free diet and I’ve been wanting to try and learn a few things to bake for her next time she visits. I’ve tried mixing the different flours and using xantham gum before and it did not end well.

I made these Snickerdoodles least a month ago but time got away from me with the baby and all. I bought a waffle maker recently and have been “waffeling” pretty much everything. Tater tots, hash browns, french toast, biscuits and now cookie dough!

These cookies are major. I mean MAJOR. Chocolate, intense, salty, crazy cookies. I understand why the recipe book they came from is called Cookie Love.

I’m so glad that warmer weather is here now. It’s much more fun to go out and about with the baby. I have developed a great baby toucher radar though! Some people can not resist and try and touch the baby without asking. It’s mostly little old ladies that don’t know any better. I’ve gotten pretty good and spotting them a mile away and steering us out of their path :p

The countdown to baby is down to the single digits now! Nine more days if he’s going to show up on time. He could potentially show up on my birthday (Feb 2nd) or even Valentine’s Day if he’s late!
