Today I have a delightful mystery foodie novel set in the south. Rosemary and Crime is a murder mystery story with a setting in a spice store. The descriptions of exotic cinnamon and peppercorns definitely had me giving my own spice collection a once over.

Paris Letters is not based around food or desserts like most of the books I review here…but it is about Paris! Who doesn’t love Paris? Home of the Eiffel Tower and the birthplace of the eclair. The author definitely eats and drinks her way through Paris so it totally deserves to be reviewed on American Cupcake Life.

I wish I hadn’t decided to read The Loveliest Chocolate Shop in Paris right after Christmas. I wasn’t on a diet but this book with it’s delicious chocolate story line was making it hard for me to take a break from rich foods.
