I wanted to squeeze in one more baby themed dessert before the big day comes! I’m seriously counting down these last four weeks. It will be nice to not struggle to put my socks on in the morning and be able to walk up the stairs again.

My blog turned four last week! I can’t believe after four years and 740 posts that I still have something to write about. There are still so many recipes and techniques that I haven’t even tried yet. This is the third time I’m celebrating my blog’s “birthday” with something Oreo.

I’m so ready for spring! I just can not snow anymore. There’s no where left for it to even go! Our mail box is about 3/4 covered and anymore snow we will need a tunnel to get out of our driveway. It did mean a few days of working from home in my sweats, which I’m not going to complain about.

In honor of last year’s super OTT Valentine’s Day Sugar Heart Cake, which looks like a Care Bear threw up, I made a just as ridiculous Valentine’s Day cake for this year. Instead of an all pink cake I went for a super fudge cake.

I made these cute funfetti muffins on the last day of Christmas vacation before I had to go back to work. I had such a nice relaxing break that it was terrible getting up the next day when it was too dark. We didn’t do anything super special for our first Christmas back in America. It’s just too cold to go out!
