Orlando Treats & Cupcakes

The last stop on our trip was Orlando! I love visiting our friends there. They know all the best places to visit and I think I’ve been to nearly all the theme parks now.

As a pretty big Harry Potter fan it was really exciting to get to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Islands of Adventure.

October is an awesome time to go. Us big kids didn’t have to wait in line for too long! The butterbeer was really good. Like vanilla, cream soda and a frothy top.

Fruit Ninja. Best. Game. Ever

Delish Frozen Yogurt had the most toppings I’ve ever seen. The girl working there was so confused as to why I was taking pictures. Hard for people to understand in the UK most places have about 3 flavors max.

Apple Pie Frozen yogurt! I also tasted red velvet, birthday cake, blueberry tart, watermelon, key lime and pumpkin pie.

We stopped at Blue Bird Bake Shop. Very cute inside. Orlando has some nice cupcakes but not at the same level as DC.

We ordered three cupcakes and the Neopolitan was the best one. It had a very nice strawberry flavor.

Our friends took us to Tu Tu Tango. I had a S’moretini!

Last cupcake stop of the trip was Sweet! I’ve been impressed with Sweet in past trips but the minis were a little bit of a let down this time. The Boston creme and hi hat were both filled with a super sweet vanilla frosting. I was really disappointed the hi hat wasn’t filled with marshmallow. The coffee cupcake was the best. The frosting was a really great combination of crushed espresso beans and I’m not sure what else.
