It was such a scorcher this weekend so I didn’t spend a whole lot of time baking. Our kitchen is one tiny little room so it’s nice and cozy in the winter but unbearable once the temperature goes above 70 degrees. Since this is only the second nice weekend all summer I didn’t mind.
To make the most of the beautiful weather we did some local sightseeing. We only live 10 minutes away so we went to Greenwich and did some exploring. If you visit London I would recommend seeing this Royal Borough. The Greenwich Foot Tunnel and prime meridian were my favorite sights. You can see all the snapshots on my instagram feed.
After an afternoon of British maritime history and the sun had set enough I decided to put one of my bags of Kraft caramel bits to use. You can’t go wrong with chocolate and caramel. Salty caramel to be precise, with a bit of extra salt thrown in for good measure!
