We had a terrible ice storm here down south about two weeks ago. They’re not equipped to handle with snow or ice so we spent several days stuck at home. We eventually went a little stir crazy.

I’m still alive! I’ve mastered doing a lot of tasks one handed these days but not quite baking and blogging. I seem to spend most of my days on the couch or propped up in bed feeding my little cookie monster.

I wanted to write a very quick post and let everyone know that my baby boy arrived! He’s so awesome I can’t believe it. He arrived on his due date as well! I’ll share some pictures soon.

The countdown to baby is down to the single digits now! Nine more days if he’s going to show up on time. He could potentially show up on my birthday (Feb 2nd) or even Valentine’s Day if he’s late!

I wanted to squeeze in one more baby themed dessert before the big day comes! I’m seriously counting down these last four weeks. It will be nice to not struggle to put my socks on in the morning and be able to walk up the stairs again.
