I finally dusted off my coffee machine (and gave it a thorough cleaning) after the move. I wasn’t drinking too many coffee pods during my early pregnancy. The Dunkin Donuts decaf from any of the numerous outlets in Connecticut was satisfying my coffee craving. There is a chance my baby will come out a cookie dough log from all the decaf cookie dough lattes I consumed :-p

After I read Cooking Your Way To Gorgeous I was really excited to try out one of the do it at home beauty treatments. I usually treat myself to a face mask on Sunday mornings. My skin tends to feel a little clammy sometimes after being in the kitchen and baking all weekend.

This recipe is for this month’s Cupcake Book Club. I made a recipe from How to Bake a Perfect Life. This is a cross between cake and a bread. I’m leaning towards calling it a sweet bread rather than a cake however. It’s intensely dark brown and thick but not dry.

Swiss National Day was on August first last week so I’m late with this post. I didn’t plan on making anything but Alex came up with the idea of Toblerone ice cream and asked I make it special. I just couldn’t say no!

This is the first recipe I made from Marshmallow Madness. Click here to read my review of the book. The hardest part of this recipe for me was fining a jar of baby food and fruit puree that matched in flavor! Yes, you read that right. This recipe calls for a jar of baby food. Using baby food eliminates prep time and has no added sugar.
