I just posted a recipe for Honey Lattes but I couldn’t resist posting this fun recipe for Gingersnap Lattes. There are a lot of coffee purists out there but I really love a good flavored syrup.

I finally dusted off my coffee machine (and gave it a thorough cleaning) after the move. I wasn’t drinking too many coffee pods during my early pregnancy. The Dunkin Donuts decaf from any of the numerous outlets in Connecticut was satisfying my coffee craving. There is a chance my baby will come out a cookie dough log from all the decaf cookie dough lattes I consumed :-p

My mom used to make batches of fudge every Christmas along with tons of Christmas cookies. She’d spend one day making everything and put the boxes of cookies in the freezer to keep us going all month long. We used to play family games at night and have milk and cookies. For some reason I haven’t made fudge very often!

I actually made these over a month ago during the Christmas break and they are amazing. Alex and I both had a hankering for cinnamon rolls but it was already the afternoon and we didn’t want to wait several hours for them to rise.

People in New England love their DD (Dunkin Donuts). At least where my sister lives in New Hampshire the DD’s outnumber Starbucks about 5 to 1. It’s a good thing that I don’t’ live in America right now because I am a little addicted to the coffee at Dunkin Donuts. I love their pumpkin syrup. When I went this spring I had numerous cups of their Baskin Robbins line, namely the Butter Pecan Coffee.
