I made this pie a few weeks ago. I was having one of those lazy days when there is nothing in the house and I felt like baking but I didn’t actually want to get up and go to the store.
It was also a good chance to use up the items lurking around in the back of the fridge. I had store bought pie crust dough and a couple of bananas in the fruit bowl.
This is a “raw” pie filling. It’s made from bananas and peanut butter. It almost tastes like an ice cream pie. It’s cool, creamy and the chocolate chips give a nice texture contrast.
You can find the recipe on ifoodreal. The only change I made was to use store bought pie dough which I baked in the oven, cooled and then poured in the filling and froze the pie.
