Thanks to everyone who read and made a creation after reading The Bakery Girls! I really enjoyed the historical trip through American Baking. Come back tomorrow to see what July’s book will be.
I have one late entry for the last Cupcake Book Club. After reading Sweet Shop of Dreams and all of Jenny’s descriptions of classic British sweets, I knew I wanted to make a classic American candy. It’s late because it takes about ten days for the sugar crystals to grow.

These biscuits have an edge over all other biscuits. If you’re like me and you like your weeknight dinners to be made quickly and with few dishes as possible these babies are for you. If you love biscuits make sure to read my Southern Biscuits book review.
