I found some Raspberry M&M’s at Cyber Candy and I felt they were too fun to just eat on their own. I already made some chocolate chip cookies recently so I decided to use the chewy chocolate chip recipe from Milk & Cookies (one of my favorite books).
These Rice Krispie Treats are so much fun! I made them awhile ago using my leftover Kool Aid Pop Rocks Marshmallows but they seem more suited to spring and summer. I sprinkled the top with crushed meringues to make them look like little key lime pies.

I love long weekends. I get one or two extra days to bake something special! The past Easter weekend was no exception. I had a list as long as my arm and from there picked a few things that were actually manageable!

A World of Food is a brilliant and colorful book from acclaimed photographer Carl Warner. The book contains 12 whimsical miniature landscapes made entirely out of food. Arranged by color and each landscape is accompanied by a short verse.
This Limoncello Lemon Curd is amazing. Rich, tangy and colorful. I made it especially for my Peggy Poschen Lemon Limoncello Layer Cake. The addition of Limoncello at the end gives the curd an extra lemon dimension.
This makes enough for one jar. Only a little is required for the cake. I used the rest to spread on toast and croissants.
