I’m so ready for spring! I just can not snow anymore. There’s no where left for it to even go! Our mail box is about 3/4 covered and anymore snow we will need a tunnel to get out of our driveway. It did mean a few days of working from home in my sweats, which I’m not going to complain about.

Cupcake Book Club #14

For this month’s book club I have chosen Making Peace: A Memoir of Love, Loss and Pie. I made pie and pie crusts one of my 2014 baking challenges so the book seems appropriate. The book is the story of writer Beth Howard’s journey after her husband dies and how she uses pie to find a purpose.

Paris Letters is not based around food or desserts like most of the books I review here…but it is about Paris! Who doesn’t love Paris? Home of the Eiffel Tower and the birthplace of the eclair. The author definitely eats and drinks her way through Paris so it totally deserves to be reviewed on American Cupcake Life.
