I’ve made a lot of different ice cream since I bought my ice cream maker. I’ve experimented with quite a few dairy free flavors as well. Up until now I’ve always used soy milk. It always tastes great but it sticks to the side of the ice cream maker like crazy.

I don’t make any New Year’s resolutions. Not that I’m perfect and don’t need improving but 12 months of telling myself that I can’t have or do something I wouldn’t last longer than a week probably. I like to set myself goals instead. Much easier to set myself targets that way.

Crunchy Stuffed French Toast

You know it’s the beginning of the new year when the never ending perfume ads stop, the Weight Watchers ads start and my Google reader is full of kale and lentils (yuck).  Instead of getting sucked up into dieting I try to maintain the same eating habits all year.

Cupcake Book Club #7

For the first book club of 2013 I’ve chosen The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake. I haven’t cheated and read ahead yet! The book is about a young girl who can taste the emotions of the baked goods baked by her mother. Expect this book to be an emotional read. Find the books on Amazon UK and Amazon US.
