Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas! I hope everyone has a wonderful day filled with good food, friends and family! I celebrated this morning by making Christmas M&M Pancakes. Simply mix some mini M&M’s into your pancake batter! Top with fresh whipped cream and a few reserved candies for on top.
My husband and I don’t buy each other Christmas gifts to open on Christmas day, instead we each buy one thing in the post Christmas sales (which happened before Christmas this year!). I chose a shiny new Tangerine Kitchenaid (from Wheesh they have loads of colors)! I can’t believe after all these years I’ll finally have one!
I was so excited about eating my pancakes and quickly checking the online sales that I left the last pancake in the pan and the whole kitchen filled with smoke! Oops! Good thing we don’t have a gas stove.
