Pumpkin Spice M&M CookiesPosted by Cupcake Kelly on Nov 27, 2013 in Cookies, z | Comments Off on Pumpkin Spice M&M Cookies
I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! Hard to believe that this is the first time I’ll be having Thanksgiving on American soil since 2000. I was a junior in high school that year and just got my learners permit. That makes me feel really old now. I’m easing myself back into the tradition this year. I’m going to my sisters house in New Hampshire. We’re getting up a dawn and driving over there from Connecticut on Thursday morning. I’m keeping my fingers crossed it doesn’t snow too hard.
I don’t have to worry about cooking a whole turkey for the first time however. I’m responsible for dessert this year. I’m a little worried about the pie crusts. I’m famously bad at making pie dough. I told my sister that the desserts were a secret so I can’t tell you what I made just yet but the second dessert is already made and will be posted soon. I can’t say if the pie will be good enough to post. I’m doing an experimental pumpkin pie this year!
I love seasonal candy and products. I made these as soon as the Pumpkin Spice M&M’s hit the shelves. I had to stop myself from buying Christmas gingerbread Twix and peppermint M&M’s until I used up some more of my current stash. If you’re not a pie person or need another dessert to have with midnight turkey sandwiches try these Pumpkin Spice Biscoff M&M Cookies. The recipe is over at Life’s Ambrosia. I didn’t make any changes to the recipe.
