Another recipe that I made a few weeks before Easter but only now have the time to blog about. However, cookies and apples never go out of fashion around here!

Candied Lemon Peel

Candied Lemon Peel

This post is the first of three that details how to make the classic British mince pie. The candied peel is only one small component but I decided to make it from scratch. I wanted to try my hand at something new with the other half of the apples but wanted to stick with canning so I could keep perfecting my technique.
