The Cronut/Donut/Croissant craze is still going strong. I’m not surprised though because donut and croissants are delicious. A hybrid can only be more mouth watering delicious right? I’ve seen a few recipes on other blogs but they were made by pros or pastry chefs. I decided to add my spin on it into the frenzy!

When I was in America a few weeks ago my sister took me to the grocery store and I immediately noticed the different varieties of Greek Yogurt available and the amount of products that incorporated Greek Yogurt. I have a huge weakness for donuts. I love Dunkin Donuts, Krispy Kreme and homemade donuts most of all. I even spent one summer working at Krispy Kreme before I started college. I consumed about a donut every day that summer! It’s a good thing that when I moved to London the first Krispy Kreme hadn’t arrived at Harrod’s yet.

This is the second recipe from Peggy Porschen Boutqiue Baking that I made. Make sure to read my review of the book here and check out the Lemon Limoncello Layer Cake. Peggy’s previous books can be pretty overwhelming to us decorating novices but her latest offering has plenty of easy and impressive recipes.

I am a donut fiend. I’m that embarrassing person that when someone sends out an email at work saying they bought donuts I’m the first one over there so I can have the one with the sprinkles.

I love donuts and I love pink desserts even more! I’m really happy that I found a recipe for baked donuts that I think tastes like a donut and not like cake in the shape of a donut.
