I love angel food cake. I love cake more than frosting. I know! I was even raised by a frosting loving mother. Except the frosting on ice cream cakes. I could that cake and frosting all day long.
Angel food cake is perfect for us cake lovers. No frosting, it’s fluffy and you don’t need a fork to eat it. It’s a regular angel food cake with some sprinkles mixed into the batter.

I used my 6 inch angel food cake pan which is adorable. I hate cracking so many egg whites and finding a way to use up the yolks. I usually use a carton of egg whites (check the package to make sure they can be whipped).
