I made this bread probably 6 months ago! I don’t know why it’s been sitting in my drafts for so long. There were just so many other posts and cakes to write about! Moving and baby also got in the way.
I knew being pregnant and having a baby wouldn’t be easy but it’s definitely harder than I thought it would be. I’ve felt pretty tired the whole time and it’s been hard to do a lot of baking on the weekend (my legs get tired from standing pretty quickly). I haven’t even had the energy to read my favorite cupcake novels on my kindle!
This recipe is worth the wait though, it’s one of my favorite banana bread recipes that I’ve made in a long time. I’ve made so many variations of banana bread but what makes this one special is it’s simplicity. It’s super soft and has a great banana flavor. It must be the buttermilk.
