Cinnamon Roll Push Pops

Push pops for breakfast! What a clever idea. I love breakfast and brunch and I’m definitely serving these at my next dessert for brunch party. They’re adorable, fast and make breakfast fun.
I made these awhile ago before I started making my own cinnamon rolls on a regular basis. This recipe uses crescent roll dough or ready to roll croissant dough with a cinnamon sugar filling rolled into the middle.
Push pop containers are not necessary for this recipe. They can easily be served on a plate. Be careful these one bite cinnamon rolls are seriously addictive.
Ingredients
Ingredients
1 can crescent dough or other canned croissants
1 tbs cinnamon
2 tbs brown sugar
2 tbs sugar
1/4 cup butter, melted
Icing
1/2 cup icing sugar
1 tbs milk
drop of vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 F/190 C. Unroll the dough and cut into 4 equal sections. In a small bowl combine the cinnamon and sugars.
- Brush one quarter of the butter all over one of the dough rectangles. Sprinkle one fourth of the cinnamon sugar over top. Starting with the wide side roll the dough like a log tightly. Repeat with the three remaining dough rectangles.
- Cut the dough into 1/3 inch slices. Place into a greased muffin tin and bake for 8 minutes.
- In a small bowl whisk together the icing sugar, milk and vanilla. Drizzle on top of the baked rolls. Stack 3 or 4 rolls in each push pop.

Cinnamon rolls are my weakness and finding a way to neatly package them so that I can make them and take them anywhere to eat is just downright dangerous… I need to try this recipe with canned croissants, I practically live on the boxes of them from Costco (also seriously addictive!)
