I’m in Nashville this week with my parents. It’s been warm in Connecticut but in Tennessee it’s a whole other level of hot. I should have remembered, when Alex and I got married in August in Knoxville, I thought I was going to melt in my wedding dress.
I’ve only been to Nashville once when I was a kid. Back when Opryland was still open. We can’t wait to try out some local BBQ!
These watermelon slushies almost remind me of the bright red Icees that my mom used to sometimes buy us when we went to Kmart and behaved.
I used frozen watermelon and a frozen banana with a dash of lemon juice and water so I wouldn’t have to add ice cubes and dilute the flavor of the watermelon.
