Strawberry Tea Blend
Posted by Cupcake Kelly on Jul 26, 2012 in Beverages | 6 commentsI’m crazy about tea. I even have a whole drawer of my desk at work filled with various tea bags, blends, cups and strainers. I started a new job this week so I spent the last few weeks depleting my stock. I made a strong black vanilla strawberry blend to take with me to my new desk.
Instead of using a typical dried fruit blend I went for freeze dried fruit. It will turn mushy once the hot water is poured over but as long as you’re using a tea strainer the flavor will infuse into your tea.
Strawberry Tea Blend
Ingredients
1 pack black tea (your choice I used Ceylon)
1 tsp vanilla (optional)
10g freeze dried strawberry pieces
2 tsp freeze dried strawberry powder
Instructions
- In a small bowl mix together all of the ingredients. Store in a tea canister in a cool dry place for 24 hours before using.

This sounds absolutely divine! I, too, am a tea fiend. As a matter of fact, I just made some tea flavoured cupcakes yesterday! Please check it out!
