Raspberry Cornflake Breakfast Smoothie
Posted by Cupcake Kelly on Mar 14, 2013 in Beverages | 3 commentsI’ve always been a breakfast person. 9 out of 10 days a week I make time to have breakfast at home before I leave for work. I do have the occasional day when I just can’t get out of bed. Usually those cold dark winter mornings.
This smoothie is a fun on the go breakfast to take to work with you. It’s got milk, fruit and cereal! If you plan on taking it to have at your desk keep the cornflakes separate until your ready to drink it so they don’t go soggy en route to the office.
Ingredients
1 cup soy milk
1/2 cup soy yogurt
1/2 cup frozen raspberries
1/2 cup lightly crush cornflakes
honey to taste
extra cornflakes, for topping
Instructions
- In a blender pulse the milk, yogurt, raspberries and honey. Add in the cornflakes and shake the blender by hand gently to evenly distribute. Pour into a glass and top off with some extra cornflakes.
I’ve entered my smoothie in the Alpro deskfest challenge. The contest is open to all. I received a few sample products from Alpro.

I love this recipe, as soon as i saw what you have posted today, i had to try it, and it didn’t disappoint. As i am lactose intollerant, i love the fact that this is alre4ady perfect for me with the Soy milk and yogurt. I might make it again in the morning but swap the soy milk for almond milk to see what its like.
Love that this smoothie is topped with corn flakes!
The drink seens so delicius and easy to make, i think all of that and more when i see it, but i’m not sure to bring it with me at the work or school, but i want to drink it.
