I’ve always been a breakfast person. 9 out of 10 days a week I make time to have breakfast at home before I leave for work. I do have the occasional day when I just can’t get out of bed. Usually those cold dark winter mornings.
This smoothie is a fun on the go breakfast to take to work with you. It’s got milk, fruit and cereal! If you plan on taking it to have at your desk keep the cornflakes separate until your ready to drink it so they don’t go soggy en route to the office.
1 cup soy milk
1/2 cup soy yogurt
1/2 cup frozen raspberries
1/2 cup lightly crush cornflakes
honey to taste
extra cornflakes, for topping
- In a blender pulse the milk, yogurt, raspberries and honey. Add in the cornflakes and shake the blender by hand gently to evenly distribute. Pour into a glass and top off with some extra cornflakes.
