PB&J Smoothie

I’m glad that Daylight savings time has brought us more light in the evenings but trying to make myself go to bed at 10pm when it’s only 9pm was impossible! That or I drank too much caffeine but I was tossing and turning all night.

Any week night getting to bed at 9pm is usually a treat. On the weekend, not so much.
I’ve been trying to come up with different ideas for smoothies. Lately I default to my two favorite combinations. Either berry or carrot. A carrot smoothie sounds gross but I love it! The color is also very attractive. I feel so healthy carrying around my see through tumbler with an orange smoothie.
This smoothie almost tastes like a blended PB&J sandwich. The peanut butter flavor is a little stronger than the grapes. Using frozen grapes keeps the smoothie nice and cold.
You could try adding a scoop of grape jelly to enhance the flavor but I thought it would make the smoothie a little too sweet.
Ingredients
1 cup frozen grapes
1 banana
1 tbs smooth peanut butter
1 cup soy milk
Instructions
- Throw all the ingredients into a blender and pulse until smooth.
